Our community arts development programming allows people to experience the fun and diversity of New York City, right where they live.

We believe that the physical structure of sites and venues hold their own stories as do the people who use or inhabit them. It is a delight to create events where people have the opportunity to see one another and where they live or work in new ways.

Celebration of cultural difference is a hallmark of IgniVox’s community arts work. We are passionate about fostering events where people experience the joy of making together.

We pay particular attention to providing quality engagement for children and young people, creating events that activate their imagination & involvement. Children are the heart of the community. When we catch their interest, we make the whole family happy.

When we build community where people know each other and are known, we lay the foundation for a culture of stewardship… and this, in our experience, always brings sustainable and potent change in people’s social and physical environments.

Our past programs have included Latin Dance & BBQs, Talent Shows, Learn-to-Drum, HipHop & Electronic music intensives, Guitar Jams, Pizza Dance parties, Expressive Arts for Seniors, African Dance & Brazilian Drums performances/teach-ins, Movie Nights, Chinese Autumn Moon Festivals, Childrens’ Art Shows. We produce a range of large scale to intimate events.

Most importantly we love what we do, we are passionate about creating community through creative endeavor, and we have fun doing it.
