laura

Laura Davidson
Production & Food

Laura grew up on a dirt road in Vermont, where cows out number people in most of the towns. She came to NYC initially to pursue a career in fashion, but quickly decided the reality of that life was not for her. Having worked as a server/bartender/manager/counter girl/door girl and the like for over a decade, she decided one day while sitting solo on the beaches of sweet Rockaway that she would dedicate her life to the service industry because it brings her endless joy and fulfillment. For Laura, the only thing more fulfilling than serving folks is serving folks food that she has made. Food is communion; over it we share our ideas and talents. It is sustenance for the body and every wild act that comes out of the body. If music is fire, food is the kindling we throw in to keep it all playing!
Laura loves feeding the people of the South Bronx & the Lower East Side in her work at IgniVox.
