At IgniVox, we believe in the transformational power of creativity to activate and sustain community<\/strong>. One measure of a community’s wealth and wellness is its capacity for cooperation and exchange of talent and participation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Our community arts development programming allows people to experience the fun and diversity of New York City, right where they live.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

We believe that the physical structure of sites and venues hold their own stories<\/em><\/strong> as do the people who use or inhabit them. It is a delight to create events where people have the opportunity to see one another and where they live or work in new ways.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Celebration of cultural difference<\/strong> is a hallmark of IgniVox’s community arts work. We are passionate about fostering events where people experience the joy of making<\/em> together.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We pay particular attention to providing quality engagement for children and young people, creating events that activate their imagination & involvement. Children are the heart of the community<\/b>. When we catch their interest, we make the whole family happy.<\/p>\r\n

When we build community where people know each other and are known<\/strong>, we lay the foundation for a culture of stewardship\u2026 and this, in our experience, always brings sustainable and potent change in people’s social and physical environments.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Our past programs have included Latin Dance & BBQs, Talent Shows, Learn-to-Drum, HipHop & Electronic music intensives, Guitar Jams, Pizza Dance parties, Expressive Arts for Seniors, African Dance & Brazilian Drums performances\/teach-ins, Movie Nights, Chinese Autumn Moon Festivals, Childrens\u2019 Art Shows. <\/b>We produce a range of large scale to intimate events.<\/p>\r\n

Most importantly we love what we do, we are passionate about creating community through creative endeavor, and we have fun doing it.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n
